Olive oil and peanuts could protect brain health

Recent research suggests that adding a little olive oil and nut in the food consumed daily may protect brain health. Add olive oil and nuts in diet can also reduce the risk of considered deaths due strokes and heart attack.

Research shows that people who consume good fats from olive oil and peanut have a lower risk for have dementia. It is also found in people in Spain who perform the Mediterranean diet.

This results earned after the researchers make observations on approximately 500 participants aged 55-80 years. They perform cognitive tests to indicate the risk of of dementia. Researchers also calculate risk factors such as smoking and heart of health.

After doing research for six years, researchers found a that 60 participants have begun to show signs of of dementia. Around 19 people have added beans to their diet, 18 people add olive oil, and 23 low-fat diet.

As a result, about 35 people who have of dementia, of whom 12 people who consume olive oil, six people who add beans to their diet, and 17 people who did low-fat diet.


Diets rich in olive oil and nuts can reduce the likelihood of damage and inflammation in the brain. Olive oil can counteract the beta amyloid plaques which can clog the brain in Alzheimer's patients. In addition, a diet with olive oil and nuts can be blood flow to the brain.

not only protects the brain, type of diet may also protect heart of from damage. Various studies have shown that taking vitamins is not enough. Combine vitamins with a healthy diet can have a profound effect to protect the heart, the brain, and even prevent cancer.
